Managing our eating, physical activity, well-being and health as individuals is usually not straightforward or simple. The If not dieting® Empowerment Card App, based on Dr Rick Kausman's If not dieting Empowerment Cards, has been created to support you to be the healthiest you can be: to assist you to eat mindfully, to encourage you to eat slowly and enjoy your food, to aid you to feel better about yourself and your body image, to support you to do your best to find some enjoyable physical activity, and to help you to achieve and maintain your healthiest weight.

We have created 7 card categories consisting of a total of 65 different cards. There are between 6 and 13 different cards in each category. Each individual card contains a key message and a beautiful photograph. After selecting a category, you can scroll down (where necessary) to see all the different cards in each category. You can also choose a card directly from the random option.

As you will see, an action button appears at the top right hand corner of every If not dieting Empowerment Card. When you push on the action button, a number of different options are revealed (Set Alert, Share This and Save to Library).

A key feature of the If not dieting Empowerment Card App is that you can set an alert to receive a card that has the message that you feel will be of most benefit for you. You can set an alert to receive any of the cards at any time. You can do this in as many categories, with as many cards, and at as many times, as you feel will be most helpful for you. (For example, you could set an alert to receive a card that reminds you to 'eat slowly and enjoy' before one or more meals; or set an alert to receive a card that reminds you to 'do your best to speak gently to yourself' at any time of the day or night; and so on.)

If you miss a card alert, you can easily find the missed alert card by either going to the 'Missed Alerts' tab within the App, or the Notification Center. You will see that if you do miss a card alert, or multiple card alerts, the If not dieting Empowerment Card iphone icon will be badged with the number 1 (to show you have one or more missed card alerts). However, within the App itself, the 'Missed Alerts' tab will be badged with the number of missed alert cards you have to view. To see the missed card/s, simply push on the 'Missed Alerts' tab, and then push on the individual missed alert card, and the individual card will appear in full.

Another exciting feature of the If not dieting Empowerment Card App is the 'Share this' option. Through this option, you can share any individual card with anyone who you think might benefit from receiving it. You can do this via email, Facebook and Twitter where the actual If not dieting Empowerment Card (image with message) will be sent.

You can also 'Save to Library' where any card you would like to use as wallpaper or a home screen can be applied from your photo album.

A: Both the Lite and full versions of this App are compatible with iOs 6.1 or later. Update your iPhone software to the latest version, then download the App again.
